Task 1 - Mobile Application Proposal (Week 01-04)

In our first project, we've been tasked with crafting a proposal presentation aimed at revitalizing an existing mobile application. Our goal is to address the issues and shortcomings it currently faces in terms of its User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX).

Once we've chosen the application we want to work on, our next step involves establishing the background and context surrounding this mobile application. This entails delving into the intricacies of how the app currently operates for its users and pinpointing areas that require improvement in terms of UI and UX. This initial task serves as a cornerstone for gathering the essential details that will fuel our efforts in redesigning the mobile application.

We recently conducted a comprehensive review of the Burger King mobile application's user interface (UI) and presented our findings to our lecturer, Mr. Shamsul. Our assessment primarily focused on uncovering the shortcomings and drawbacks of the app's current UI. Moreover, we not only identified these issues but also formulated innovative solutions to enhance the user experience (UX).

Following the presentation and the valuable feedback received, we embarked on a journey of in-depth research. This involved scouring various online sources and references to gather the necessary information and insights. These efforts are instrumental in the ongoing development of our proposal slide, which aims to transform the Burger King mobile app into a more user-friendly and enjoyable experience.

FEEDBACK

Week 2
My choice of app for the redesign project has proven to be highly promising. The selected mobile application allows users to navigate through the entire ordering process seamlessly. During consultations with Mr.Shamsul, there was unanimous approval for this app as an excellent candidate for improvement. This consensus was based on the numerous opportunities it presents for enhancement, with several areas identified where I can significantly enhance user-friendliness.

Week 4
Proposal presentation this week went exceptionally well, characterized by its smooth delivery and the quality of our presentation slides. The extensive preparation we invested in truly paid off, resulting in a polished and engaging presentation.

Additionally, Mr. Shamsul provided us with a valuable suggestion to enhance our project further. He recommended that we seek references from two renowned sources: Nielsen Norman Group and Usability.gov.
