Proposal
Week 1 - Idea & Topic Brainstorm
After we decided to select our specialization, I began exploring topics for my UI/UX area of expertise. Through the research, I found that I'm interested in the role of motion design in UI/UX, and how it can be used to create more intuitive and dynamic user interfaces. I'm curious about exploring the use of animation, micro-interactions, and other motion design techniques to enhance usability and create a more immersive user experience.
Dr. Shaimaa comment that the topic I selected about motion design in user experience is interesting and she suggested that I could focus on its usability and engagement.
Week 2 - Proposal Draft 1
After brainstorming, I began conducting more research and gathering references on the topic of motion design in user experience, specifically focusing on its usability and engagement. Through this research, I was able to identify the research problem, objectives and questions that will be included in my proposal.

Feedback:
Dr. Shaimaa comment that my research objectives and questions are good to go, but she noted that my research problem was written more toward argumentative literature. To improve the clarity of my research problem, she recommended that we use the “5W” main questions method to describe it.
Week 3 - Proposal Refined
After receiving feedback, I conducted further research by reviewing relevant articles and journals to include in-text citations in the research rationale. In addition to addressing the research problem, I used the 5W method (i.e., answering the questions of where, what, who, when, and how) to rewrite the problem statement.

Feedback:
Dr. Shaimaa's online comment suggested that the problem statement was incomplete, as it lacked information about who would benefit from or be affected by the research, as well as how the research would be conducted. In response, I will need to revise the problem statement to address these issues and provide a more comprehensive overview of the research problem.
